Vehicle Description What we've got on the showroom floor is an uncommon sight here at Coyote Classics, but a welcome one to be sure! This here is a stunning 1970 Chevrolet C10 truck, finished in white with black decals.
It looks right at home both on the farm and on the street, which is a tough look to pull off! Combining excellent power delivery and a sleek look, what else could you ask from a truck that represents the epitome of 1960s utilitarian style? 1970 marked the 3rd year of production for the C10's 2nd-generation, which started in 1967.
Called the Action Line, the 2nd-generation C10 better adapted the model line towards multi-purpose use along with improving durability and capability.
Comfort and convenience features were also increased to improve its effectiveness as a personal-use vehicle, better suited to daily driving.
1970 models received a grille that was only used for that single model year! This example is powered by a small-block Chevrolet V8 breathing handily through a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, a workhorse of an engine that is sure to deliver all the power it needs to.
That V8 connects to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission, shifting nice and smooth for a nice ride.
The exterior white-over-black paint looks absolutely gorgeous in the sun, having been buffed to a beautiful shine and complimenting the black decal striping nicely.
The interior black vinyl bucket seats are very comfortable, perfect for long cruises.
The door panels feature stitched-in Chevrolet logos for an air of luxury, and an added center console gives the driver added convenience.
Options fitted to this beautiful 1970 C10 include power steering, power brakes, a tilt steering wheel, an updated Pioneer AM/FM/Bluetooth/CD stereo system, new speakers, factory-style gauges, a center console, and a sweet-sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust system.
The C10 in question rides on a sleek set of chrome Keystone 15 wheels over B.
F.
Goodrich RWL tires for an extra-muscular look.
What we've got here is a real head-turner, something that really emphasizes the classic all-American swagger of vintage pickups.
It's no wonder that the C10 continues to be one of the market's most popular options for stylish, utilitarian transportation! With sweet vintage aesthetics, straight lines and muscle car streetability, this old Chevy is the perfect combination of form and function.
We hope it can find a new home with you.
