Vehicle Description In the showroom now is this especially slick 1968 Ford Mustang, and Coyote Classics is more than happy to present it to you for your consideration! This '68 has plenty of options that make it a desirable cruiser, with an AM/FM/Cassette stereo system an automatic transmission and reliable V8 power.
1968 was also the second year of the Mustang's first major restyling, receiving concave taillights, side scoops, square rear-view mirrors, chrome ornamentation, and new bodylines.
Keeping to that new, bold restyling is this Mustang's powerplant.
Powered by a Ford 289 C.
I.
V8 paired to a 2-barrel carburetor, this Mustang isn't hurting for ample cruisability.
Torque from the 289 gets to the rear end through a 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts effortlessly and seamlessly.
This Mustang also has a great color combination, with burnt-orange paint and a white decal C-Stripes that go together like peanut butter and jelly.
One interesting thing about this Mustang is the Department of Defense registration sticker on the front window, dated November 1979 at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska.
This could very well mean that one of the former owners of this fantastic '68 Ford could very well have been a pilot during the Cold War! The interior black vinyl bucket seats look and feel great paired with deluxe woodgrain trim that adorns this Mustang's cab.
Fitted with a variety of options, this '68 is equipped with power steering, an updated AM/FM/Cassette stereo system, a deluxe hood, a heater
defroster, fog-lights, and a neat-sounding dual exhaust system.
The car rides on some vintage-style steel wheels with Mustang hubcaps on top of thin whitewall tires, giving this old Ford a factory-fresh look.
Right now, this '68 Ford is sitting in our showroom just waiting for the chance to see the road again.
We think you'd look pretty good sitting behind the wheel.
