Vehicle Description On the showroom floor now is this sweet 1968 Ford Mustang! Dressed in black with a green interior and red decal C-stripes to boot, this one sure does present very nicely to the eye.
1968 was the Mustang's second year of its first redesign, which saw the Mustang grow more muscular and aggressive in appearance and composure.
1968 saw the addition of new chrome ornamentation, increased safety with a two-spoke energy-absorbing steering wheel, along with newly introduced shoulder belts.
Other changes included the removal of the FORD from the hood, the movement of the rearview mirror from frame to windshield, and the addition of C-Stripe graphics to the passenger doors.
This '68 model is powered by a correct, C-Code 289 C.
I.
V8 that breathes through a 2-barrel carburetor for easy power delivery.
Torque from that 289 gets to the pavement through the use of a Ford C-4 3-speed automatic transmission, shifting smoothly and quickly.
The exterior black and red paint scheme is gorgeous laid out over a body that presents as nice and straight.
On this '68 Mustang, those red C-Stripes really stand out in contrast to the black paint! The interior is just as nice as the exterior, shown in two-tone green vinyl with black carpeting.
Options fitted to this 1968 model Mustang include factory gauges, an original working AM pushbutton radio, vent windows, a heater
defroster, and a nice sounding dual exhaust system.
The car is shoed with stock Mustang wheels complimented by 1968 Mustang hubcaps riding on top of some Goodyear thin whitewall tires, giving this old Ford a factory-fresh look.
Right now, this '68 Ford is sitting in our showroom just waiting for the chance to see the road again.
